Why: One thing common in the mother-daughter duo is, "Cooking is their IKIGAI”
The Secret: It is believed that Vanshika has inherited the talent and gift of taste from her grandmother, who was famous for cooking delicious food out of nowhere, in no time! Vanshika’s delicacies have the same taste as her grandmother, famous as ‘Usha Aunty’ had!
Why Peedhi? The name पीढ़ी meaning generations, signifies all the three generations - पीढ़ियों से (past generation), आज की पीढ़ी (present generation) and आने वाली पीढ़िया (signifying Vanshika’s dream of owning a chain of authentic Indian restaurants across the globe)
Pillar: Peedhi was named by Vanshika’s father and Jaya’s life partner Sumit who is a boarding school expert, and a strong support system for both!
Virtues: • Peedhi believes in fresh and slow cooking, giving the purest and most authentic, non professional delicacy for true punjabi food lovers. Some varieties of पीढ़ी take upto 15 hours to cook, giving an aesthetic taste and utmost satisfaction!
• Everything at पीढ़ी is cooked in pure ghee, homemade masalas, traditional recipes of our grandmother and lot of love!
• About 95% of packaging of पीढ़ी is eco-friendly supporting the earth and getting it back
• The three fundamentals of cooking at पीढ़ी are स्वाद (taste), प्रेम (love) & तृप्ति (satisfaction)
